Reviews and Ratings
The rooms looked like a honeymoon suite, massive, and clean, although it was exceptionally hot being above the spa pool and swimming pool. Upgrading to a deluxe room was a good choice.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were massive and accessible through a narrow corridor off the bar area, with a strong chlorine smell from the pool that permeated into the room. The other guests and event rooms were good, and the shower was lovely. However, the price for some items like lager was pretty expensive. Despite the road access issue, the staff from the booking process were extremely helpful and friendly.
The hotel has its ups and downs. While the rooms needed some care and attention, the upgrade we paid for wasn't entirely worth it as we ended up with a view of a shed just 4ft away. The furnishings were worn out, basic, and even moldy in places. On the bright side, the service was exceptional, especially with friendly staff assisting us throughout despite a bustling wedding party. The location, although a bit dull in some areas, was excellent, especially with views of the surrounding beautiful landscape. The dining experience, while not exceptional, offered a good variety of delicious options. Overall, a mixed experience with some standout features and some disappointments.
